Hey Drew, i installed your Rosetta Stone App from another thread that you made. And as i follow the instructions i came across a problem and i'm in need of help. It about the patch :\ i copy the patch into the install folder and i open the patch, but when i press patch this message pops up and says

"Can not access the file. Maybe it's in use... Please close the file before patching!"

can you explain this???

I extracted the first iso and all i see is all these .rsd files in the data folder for cd1, have i missed something?

yes, you dont extract the iso....you mount it and open rosetta stone and install it there...

Yeah... I think it's a vista problem since it says it's for XP pro...

Isn't there a patch for vista?

yeah it says it works for vista....but vista is a piece of crap like that so i dunno...maybe even try turning of the popup thing every time it asks for permission to let stuff open or change settings (user access control i think?)

maybe that'll stop that....not sure....vista is full of bugs and pointless stuff like that, thats why i ditched my Vista Ultimate for XP Pro

In vista, Have u tried:

Right click the patch file and run it as administrator.

Ive seen problems with other software and when ran as administrator usually solves the problem
